ASE/ASM- Malda – Anmol Industries

Job Summary

The ASE/ASM is responsible for driving sales growth, managing distribution networks, and expanding market presence in the assigned territory. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, strengthening retailer and distributor relationships, and ensuring effective execution of sales strategies.


Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Target Achievement

  • Achieve primary and secondary sales targets
  • Ensure consistent growth in volume and revenue
  • Monitor daily sales performance and take corrective actions

2. Distribution Management

  • Appoint and manage distributors in the assigned territory
  • Ensure product availability across all retail outlets
  • Improve numeric and weighted distribution

3. Market Expansion

  • Identify new markets, outlets, and growth opportunities
  • Increase market penetration for company products
  • Conduct local promotional activities

4. Retailer & Distributor Relationship

  • Build strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors
  • Ensure timely order collection and stock replenishment
  • Resolve channel partner issues effectively

5. Team Management (For ASM Role)

  • Lead and manage sales representatives / field staff
  • Set targets and track team performance
  • Train and motivate the team to achieve goals

6. Merchandising & Visibility

  • Ensure proper product display and branding at retail outlets
  • Implement trade schemes and promotional campaigns

7. Reporting & MIS

  • Maintain daily/weekly sales reports
  • Track competitor activities and market trends
  • Provide feedback to management

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of FMCG distribution and retail network
  • Relationship management and communication skills
  • Leadership abilities (for ASM role)
  • Result-oriented and target-driven mindset

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred for ASM role)

Experience

  • ASE: 1–4 years in FMCG sales
  • ASM: 4–8 years with team handling experience
