Job Summary
The Web Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive website designs. The role involves working closely with developers and clients to design layouts, enhance user experience, and ensure brand consistency across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Website Design & UI/UX
- Design website layouts, landing pages, and user interfaces
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
- Ensure responsive and mobile-friendly designs
2. Visual & Graphic Design
- Design banners, icons, and other web graphics
- Maintain brand consistency in all designs
- Work with typography, color schemes, and layout principles
3. Front-End Collaboration
- Work closely with developers to implement designs
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ensure designs are technically feasible
4. User Experience Optimization
- Improve usability and user journey
- Conduct design testing and gather feedback
- Optimize designs for performance and engagement
5. Tools & Software Usage
- Use tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Stay updated with latest design trends and tools
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong UI/UX design skills
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe Suite)
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Design / Multimedia / Computer Science or related field
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in web design
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects
