Job Summary
The Academic Counsellor is responsible for guiding students and parents in choosing the right courses and learning programs offered by the company. The role focuses on converting inquiries into enrollments, providing career guidance, and ensuring a positive student experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Student Counselling & Guidance
- Counsel students and parents regarding courses (NEET, JEE, Foundation, etc.)
- Understand student needs and recommend suitable programs
- Provide career guidance and explain course benefits
2. Lead Conversion & Sales
- Handle inbound and outbound leads (calls, walk-ins, online inquiries)
- Achieve admission/enrollment targets
- Follow up with prospective students to convert leads into admissions
3. Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with students and parents
- Maintain a database of leads and track interactions
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
4. Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with academic and operations teams
- Assist students with onboarding and course-related queries
- Support promotional activities, seminars, and events
5. Reporting & MIS
- Maintain daily reports on leads, conversions, and follow-ups
- Track performance against targets
Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sales and persuasion abilities
- Basic understanding of education/career counselling
- Ability to handle targets and pressure
- Customer-centric approach
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred: BBA / BA / B.Sc)
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in counselling, sales, or edtech
- Freshers with good communication skills can apply

Working Conditions
- Office-based role in Malda center
- May require weekend working (peak admission periods)
