Job Summary
The Junior Accountant Executive is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accuracy in transactions. The role involves handling invoices, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and assisting in financial reporting while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in accounting software (e.g., Tally)
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
- Generate customer invoices and track receivables
- Follow up for outstanding payments
3. Bank & Ledger Reconciliation
- Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
- Reconcile ledger balances and resolve discrepancies
4. GST & Compliance
- Assist in GST calculations, filing, and returns
- Maintain records for tax compliance
- Support audits by preparing required documents
5. Financial Reporting
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports
- Provide data for balance sheets and profit & loss statements
- Maintain expense tracking and budgeting records
6. Inventory & Billing Support
- Coordinate with stores and sales teams for inventory accounting
- Ensure accurate billing for automobile sales and services
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Familiarity with Tally / ERP systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Basic knowledge of GST and taxation
- Communication and coordination skills
Educational Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience (Freshers can apply)
- Experience in automobile dealership or accounting role preferred
