Billing Executive – Logistics – Mendine Pharmaceuticals

Job Summary

The Billing Executive – Logistics is responsible for handling billing operations related to transportation, dispatch, and supply chain activities. The role ensures accurate invoice generation, coordination with logistics partners, and timely documentation for smooth dispatch and delivery processes.


Key Responsibilities

1. Billing & Invoicing

  • Generate invoices for dispatches and logistics services
  • Ensure accuracy in billing (quantity, rates, taxes, transport charges)
  • Maintain proper records of invoices and billing documents

2. Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams
  • Ensure timely billing aligned with shipment schedules
  • Work with transporters and courier partners

3. Documentation Management

  • Prepare delivery challans, e-way bills, and transport documents
  • Maintain records for audits and compliance
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation

4. GST & Compliance

  • Apply correct GST rates on invoices
  • Ensure compliance with taxation and logistics regulations
  • Assist in GST reporting and reconciliation

5. Reconciliation & Reporting

  • Reconcile billing data with dispatch and accounts records
  • Track pending invoices and discrepancies
  • Prepare daily/weekly billing reports

6. Issue Resolution

  • Resolve billing discrepancies with customers or transporters
  • Coordinate with accounts and operations teams for corrections

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of billing and invoicing processes
  • Basic understanding of GST and e-way bill system
  • Familiarity with Tally/ERP or billing software
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good coordination and communication skills

Educational Qualification

  • B.Com / BBA / Diploma in Accounting or Logistics

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in billing/logistics/accounts
  • Experience in pharma or logistics industry preferred
